Good to hear that their forum support is much better.

Last year I register a "trial" twitter account and posted tweets from all my niche blogs thru twitterfeed. I never engage into conversations with that account and did zero RTs.

Did a lot of auto following / unfollowing and auto DMs.

The account was suspended in 3 months.

My guess is that Twitter has it's own algorithm in determining spammy accounts though following, unfollowing and following back the same user could be the culprit.

Well, perhaps support is a little better via the forum. But direct support is terrible and they have still not replied to my last 3 emails. For a script which costs as much as hummingbird does, that is inexcuseable in my opinion.

Will using scripts like Hummingbird jeopardise your Twitter account? No, not as long as you use it correctly.

I believe Twitter only responds to accounts which have been reported or blocked numerous times though I'm not 100% sure of that. However, hummingbird tells you who you have unfollowed before. This stops you from following someone, unfollowing them, following them again etc (the kind of thing which will piss someone off!).

Also, it's probably best not to use the script to constantly follow and unfollow people. you should probably just use it once a day or perhaps once every two days.

I'm very surprised that HummingBird support is that BAD.

They better buck up as this news is going viral...

Kevin, what do you think about using softwares or tools like HummingBird to do mass following and unfollowing ?

Will using these tools jeopardise your twitter account ?
