I’ve noticed Twitter mess up quite a bit recently. In particular, I’ve been having problems unfollowing people. For example, I followed someone a few weeks ago but noticed how much crap they were posting and unfollowed them, but when I checked my following list they were still there. I had to unsubscribe a few more times over the following weeks before it worked.

I logged in to Twitter today and noticed a direct message from someone called dangerdiabolick.

The thing is, I had never even heard of this person before let alone make the decision to follow them. It’s bad enough having to unfollow someone a few times before they are removed from your follow list but I don’t like having to unfollow people I didn’t follow in the first place!!

I know some Twitter API scripts make you follow someone but the only API I sign into is SNODS so not sure why this happened.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Microsoft have made their first step into the world of Twitter with the launch of Bing Tweets, a new Twitter site that has been launched under the Bing umbrella.

According to them:

BingTweets combines Twitter trends with Bing search results, enabling you to see deeper, real-time information about the hottest topics on Twitter. You can also search for anything in the BingTweets search box (at the top right of every page) and see Bing search results alongside the most recent related tweets.

It reminds me of Twittorati. I’m sure there’s some people out there who would find this site useful but I really can’t see why someone would log in to this site everyday.
